You get out by walking towards the cash registers and you will see the doors..duh. If you hang around when closeing time is announced and get locked in,then its your fault…stupid. If you ask questions like that then you don’t need to be outside unsupervised.
angie, have you ever been in an IKEA store? it’s not like Wal-mart, the place is a maze. Not to mention the cash registers are not even on the same floor as the displays (at least in the one I’ve been in).
I only went to an IKEA once and before I went, a bunch of people voluntarily started to warn me that it was designed like a spiral (upstairs/downstairs) and that it was super-confusing. I have to agree with the one poster though; I didn’t have the slightest confusion or problem keeping track of where I was or how to get out. Not sure but I wasn’t that into their stuff, so maybe if shoppers really like everything there, it’s more distracting.
The place is not a maze, it’s a circle. Follow the signs and you will reach the front again. Also, the bigger ones give you maps. It’s really not hard to figure out, people.
